DOODLES!!! Draw a doodle (a silly name for a drawing) of an animal. I want to see patterns, lines and shapes in your animal doodles!
Draw a doodle looking in the mirror up close at your eye! Look and see how many details you can find.
Painting Try making a special kind of painting called a crayon resist. You will need watercolor paint, a paintbrush, a cup of water, thicker paper or watercolor paper and crayons. Draw a picture in crayon. Don't color too much in because wherever your crayon line are the paint won't stick to the crayon. That's why it is called a crayon resist. The crayon resists (resist means to not allow) the paint and won't let it cover it. Make sure your lines are very dark and you leave empty white spaces for the paint to stick! Try using a white crayon and paint lots of colors on top to see the white lines appear!
